What Happens When You Come to See Sue?
The therapy sessions begins in the form of an Initial Consultation which allows the client and therapist to get to know each other and talk about the presenting problem. Although hypnosis is a very beneficial part of the therapy, discussions, analysis and psychotherapy techniques are also adopted to allow the client to become aware of their thoughts and feelings and how they affect their behaviour and how we can change those thought processes to create new positive ones.

Some common questions and answers
What does hypnosis feel like?
Actually you have probably been hypnotised many times throughout your life. Have you ever driven to work and realised you have almost no recall of the journey? Have you been daydreaming? To most people hypnosis is a similar state of mind. Despite what you may see on TV or at stage shows people under hypnosis know exactly what they are doing.
Does a person give up control when hypnotised?
Do we give up control of our minds during a movie? When is the last time you got so involved during a movie or TV show that you actually felt emotion? You were literally in a hypnotic trance, although you still have the power to emerge from that state if desired, you have the power to resist.
Will I be forced to accept suggestions?
NO. Your subconscious mind is very protective of you and you will not accept any suggestions that go against your core values or belief systems.
Will I know what is happening?
Yes, in fact you are more aware of what is happening. Although your eyes are closed your other senses can increase their awareness and sensitivity.
